    Maxine McKinnie

    April 20, 1925 - April 15, 2020

    Maxine McKinnie, age 94, of Oakland, MS died peacefully Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at her home with family by her side. She was born April 20, 1925 in Bolivar, TN and dedicated her life to her family as a homemaker. She loved the simple things in life such as gardening and her flowers. She was a member of Hosanna Family Worship Center in Pope, MS. The Family will hold a private ceremony at a later date. Maxine is survived by two sons, Danny McKinnie of Oakland, MS, Richard McKinnie (Elizabeth) of Biloxi, MS; nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Along with her husband of fifty years, Maxine was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie McKinnie; and one daughter, Gwen Rolfe. Seven Oaks Funeral Home was honored to have been entrusted with arrangements.
