Timothy (Tim) McMinn

Timothy (Tim) McMinn, age 65, of Water Valley, MS passed from this life Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. He was born January 5, 1957, in Memphis, TN to Dennis McMinn and the late Loy (McCullar) McMinn. Tim was always a lover of sports and pitched for his team in high school. After graduation, Tim began his 40 plus year working career at Holley Carburetor as a production set-up man, and ultimately retired from Borg Warner. With his affinity for sports, he coached his children's youth teams when they were small. Tim also loved playing golf, hunting and fishing. A graveside service will be held Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Jumpers Chapel Cemetery. Tim is survived by two daughters, Chastity McMinn (John) of Marion, AR, Kirstyn McMinn of Olive Branch, MS; his father, Dennis McMinn of Water Valley, MS; two brothers, Alan McMinn and Scott McMinn, both of Memphis, TN; and four grandchildren. Tim was preceded in death by his son, Zane McMinn; his mother, Loy McMinn; and one brother, Gary, McMinn.
