Ann Davis

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ann Ruth Davis, a beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, who left us peacefully on November 7, 2025, at the age of 88. Born on November 30, 1936, in Jackson, TN, Ann lived a life filled with love, laughter, and a resilient spirit that inspired everyone she met.

For over 50 years, Ann dedicated herself to her work as a waitress, tirelessly serving others in the food service industry. Her kindness and care for her customers reflected her loving nature, as she always prioritized the needs of her family above her own. Ann is survived by her daughter, Diane Goodrum (Jeffrey), Johnny Tidwell; ten grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren, all of whom were a source of immense pride and joy for her.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Ruby Fullerton; siblings, Glen Fullerton, Jerry Fullerton, Deborah Hubbard; and four children, Margaret Tidwell, Robert Dale Tidwell, Ricky Tidwell, Betty Jean Tidwell.

A vibrant soul, Ann found happiness in the simplicity of life. She enjoyed flower gardening, where she nurtured blooms that mirrored her own beautiful spirit, and indulged in crafting, expressing her creativity through various projects.

Friends and family are invited to gather to celebrate Ann's remarkable life. A visitation will be held at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM, with a funeral service immediately following at 12:00 noon, where we will share stories and memories that honor her legacy of love and support.

In this time of sorrow, let us come together to remember Ann Ruth Davis-a loving, caring, independent woman with a heart of gold who touched the lives of everyone around her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
