Billie Gail Collins

Billie Gail Collins, age 67, passed away on July 1, 2022, at her home in Water Valley, MS. She was born on November 9, 1954 in Memphis, TN, to Earl Robbins and Martha (Cresswell) Robbins. Billie graduated from Coffeeville High School and had retired from the Mississippi Wildlife Fisheries and Parks after working at George P. Cossar State Park for twenty-seven years. Billie was outgoing, and as such never met a stranger. She had a kind heart and tender spirit, and it is said she had the gift of conversation. In her free time, Billie loved cross-stitching and puzzles, especially playing Sudoku .

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Sylva Rena Cemetery in Water Valley, MS.

Billie is survived by her husband of thirty-seven years Mike Collins of Water Valley; one son, Michael Robbins (Nicole); two brothers, Bill Robbins of Collierville, TN, Howard Robbins of Coffeeville, Ms; one grandson, Gavin Robbins.

Along with her parents, Billie was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Robbins.
