Billy Rodger Hillhouse

Billy Rodger Hillhouse, age 63, of Banner, MS passed from this life Friday, February 24, 2023 at Bruce Community Living Center in Bruce, MS. He was born August 7, 1959, in Water Valley, MS to Oneal (Tutor) Hillhouse and the Late Billy Eugene Hillhouse. Billy was the kind of man that liked leading a quiet, down to earth life. He is described by his family as a very tenderhearted and caring man who loved being able to help others when able. After attending school in Bruce, he went to work for Brookwood furniture in Bruce and later became a logger for Alton and Russell Edward's. A job he truly enjoyed until health issues precluded him from being able to work. When not working, Billy enjoyed simple pleasures like watching TV, reading, and spending time on his computer. But his family, whom he loved, was his greatest pleasure.

Visitation is planned for Monday, February 27, 2023, in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will follow in the Henry Chapel at Seven Oaks at 11:00 AM with Bro. Doug Orlando officiating. Burial will be in Drivers Flat Cemetery.

Billy is survived by his mother, Ms Oneal Hillhouse; one sister, Pam (Billy) Howell; and one nephew, Dustin Howell.

Billy was preceded in death by his father Billy (Eugene) Hillhouse; Grandparents Leslie and Mary Hillhouse, and Roscoe and Pauline Tutor.
