Billy Lynn Pate

Billy Lynn Pate, age 73, of Oxford, MS died peacefully Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at the Veteran's Home in Oxford, MS. He was born June 20, 1946 to the late Frank C. and Thelma (Spears) Pate and retired after serving our country twenty two years in the United States Air Force, including the Vietnam War. After his service, Billy drove for LMT trucking, where he eventually retired. He enjoyed tinkering with tractors and old cars, and had an affinity for model trains.

Billy is survived by two sisters, Della Ann Lancaster of Coffeeville, MS, Pam Willoughby of North Carolina; and numerous friends.

Billy was preceded in death by both of his parents.

There will be a private service celebrating Billy’s life at a later date.
