David Moya

David Lee Moya of Water Valley passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at the age of 64. Born on June 3, 1960, in Colorado Springs, CO, David was a caring and hardworking individual who touched the lives of all those around him.

In the last few years, David was known for his dedication to the First Christian Church, where he found great solace and warmth from the congregation. He shared a special bond with Larry and Rachel Bell, who were like family to him in times of joy and sorrow. David leaves behind his sister Mary Jane Hart (Craig) and a brother, Johnny Moya (Norma), who meant the world to him, along with his brother-in-law Don York, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A steadfast and reliable soul, David was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need in where ever his travels took him. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Funeral services and ceremonies to commemorate David's life will be held in the near future, allowing friends and family to come together to honor his memory and celebrate the life he lived. May he rest in peace knowing he was cherished by many.

David was preceded in death by his parents David Moya and Alberta (Sandoval) Rhyne; and one sister Evelyn Marie York.
