Diann Quarles Crocker, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 13, 2026, at the age of 75. Diann was born on July 2, 1951, in Pontotoc, Mississippi, and spent much of her life in the Randolph community where she attended school. Known for her outspoken nature and strong-willed spirit, Diann's warmth and love were felt by all who knew her.
In 1966, Diann married George, beginning a family that would grow to include three loving children: Crystal McCoy (Shannon) from Oxford, MS, George Crocker (Pam), and Donnie Crocker all of Water Valley. A devoted mother, she filled her home with laughter, love, and the aroma of her delicious cooking, especially her famous cheese ball that became a holiday staple.
Diann dedicated nearly 40 years of her life to Ram Tool, where she became a respected member of the production team. Beyond her work, she nurtured her passions for gardening-tending to both flowers and vegetables-and lost herself in the pages of romantic novels. When time allowed, Diann loved to escape into nature, camping and fishing with family and friends.
Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Julie Posey (James Mathis), Brandon Crocker (Cindi), Lee Crocker (Chelsey), Clay McCoy (Celeste), Chevy Crocker, Sue Crocker (Aaron Turner), Tyler McCoy (Megan), Gloria Dawn Goodson (Jamie), and Brooke Crocker, along with thirteen cherished great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Nancy Kelly and Leonard Kilgore.
Friends and family are warmly invited to celebrate Diann's life and legacy. Visitation will be held on September 16, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Jumper's Chapel Church, followed by a funeral service at the same location at 12:00 PM.
Diann's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched, inspiring us to embrace life with the same joy and love that she radiated.
Along with her mother, Annie (Carter) Kilgore, Diann was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Crocker.
