Elizabeth "Libbie" Nelson

Elizabeth Kay (Libbie) Nelson, age 64, of Bruce, MS died Saturday, April 20, 2019 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. She was born May 9, 1954 in Clarksdale to the late Henry and Louise (Hester) Province and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed doing different kinds of puzzles, wrestling, and game shows. But her grandchildren were the highlight of her life

Visitation is planned for Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at First United Pentecostal Church from 11 AM until 1:00 PM with services following immediately after with Bro. Charles Compton officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Libbie is survived by her husband, Shane Nelson of Bruce, MS; one son, Steven Baker of Water Valley, MS; one sister, Billie Province; one brother, Henry Province; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Denise Baker; and her best friend, Linda Hodge.

Along with her parents, Libbie was preceded in death by one son, William Baker.
