Gloria Darlene Lyles

Gloria Darlene Lyles, age 62, of Tillatoba, MS passed away suddenly on October 12, 2023. She was born on February 28, 1961, in Memphis, TN. Gloria loved and valued spending time with her children and grandchildren, passing the days by smiling and laughing with them. She also enjoyed crocheting, as well as playing darts and pool.

Gloria is survived by her 3 children, Jessica Thorpe (Kevin) of Covington, TN; Latosha Lyles (Michael McWhorter) of Meridian, MS; and Timothy Lyles (Michelle) of Tillatoba; ten grandchildren, Jace Hixson, Devon Lyles, Braden Thorpe, Ethan Thorpe, Kaydance Lyles, Konner Lyles, Issac Elmore, Ethan Lyles, Evan Lyles, Gabriel Lyles; one sister, Dorthy Burkeen of the Waterford Community; one brother, Michael Blevins of Memphis, TN; a niece, Wanda Smallwood, as well as a host of other family and dear friends.

Preceding her in death are her mother, Ruby Blevins and step-father Allen Blevins, of Memphis, TN; her husband Richard Lyles; a grandson, Zachary Lyles-McWhorter; and a sister, Dianne Best. Gloria was truly cherished by everyone who knew her and she will be deeply missed.
