Kenneth Wade Potts, 84, from Lakeland, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN. Born on April 19, 1940, in Calhoun County, MS, to the late Ed and Lavelle Potts, he held a bachelor's degree from Northwestern University and served in the United States Army from 1960 until 1962. Kenneth married June Wagner Potts, the love of his life, in April of 1964. Known for his strength, loyalty, and integrity, he was a man of action, guided by his family and faith in Jesus Christ. He was devoted to both his family and his faith. Kenneth found joy in golf and antique cars. Kenneth felt blessed to receive a heart transplant in 2002, giving him an additional twenty-two years of life with his family. The memory of Kenneth Potts will endure in the hearts of those who loved him for eternity.

Services will be held Monday, May 20, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with
Bro. Grant Coffey officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Liberty Cemetery.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, June Wagner Potts; one daughter April Kelley; and two brothers, Richard Potts and Thomas Potts.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents Ed Potts and Lavelle Prestage Potts.
