Linda Ann Cannon

Linda Ann Cannon, age 60, of Coffeeville, MS died Thursday, February 10, 2022, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Grenada, MS after an extended illness. She was born August 12, 1961 in Memphis TN, to Dorothy Hughes and the late James Cannon. Even with her small stature, she drove eighteen wheelers for a living until her health precluded her from working. Linda was a down to earth person who enjoyed the simple things in life. To her laughter and being happy were the answer to life's problems. Linda loved animals, riding horses and taking care of her dog “Strawberry”. She was a member of First Baptist Coffeeville. She will be missed greatly.

A graveside service is planned for Tuesday, February 15, 2022, in the Hopewell Church cemetery at 1:00 PM.

Linda is survived by her mother, Dorothy Hughes of Coffeeville, MS.

Along with her father, Linda was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Cannon.
