Marion Elizabeth Bratton

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marion Elizabeth Bratton, who went peacefully on June 1, 2026, at the age of 68 in Oxford, MS.

Marion was born on Aug. 14, 1957, in Taunton, MA to Theresa Moreau. She spent her life dedicated to her family and faith and touched the lives of many through her kindness, generosity, and unwavering compassion for others.

Marion graduated from Austin Peay University and worked as an administrative assistant for most of her professional career. Above all, Marion cherished time spent with family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, making jewelry, raising chickens, rescuing dogs, and gardening. She created countless treasured memories with those she loved.

Marion is survived by her husband, Keith Bratton; sons Jeremy (Angela) Harwell, Demetri Bratton & Ethan Bratton; grandchildren Layla Harwell & Bailey Deaton; and three surviving siblings. She was preceded in death by her mother Theresa, son Cody, and three brothers.

The family will have a private memorial service to celebrate Marion's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that tributes be made in the form of a donation in her memory to the Oxford Animal Resource Center, honoring Marion's lifelong love for animals.

Though deeply missed, Marion will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of wishing you your best day will continue to live on for future generations.
