Mildred Potts

Mildred M. Potts, age 92, went home to rest with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 17, 1930, in Humboldt, TN and grew up around the Pangburn, AR area.
Mildred, or Millie, moved to Water Valley with her husband, Delma, in 1979. She was known around Water Valley from working with the Water Valley Housing Authority from 1982 until her retirement in 2007. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her yard.
Mildred is survived by one daughter, Pauline Potts; one son, Delma Gene Potts Jr; one granddaughter, Rhonda Palmertree (Scott); and one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Palmertree, all of Water Valley.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Delma Gene Potts Sr; two brothers Tommy McKnight and Cecil McKnight; one half-sister Flora Lee Gilliam; her parents John Henry McKnight and Marie Crow McKnight.
