It is with a mix of sorrow and joy that we announce the passing of Patricia Noaks Holliday, who left us on July 7, 2026, at the age of 78. Patricia was born on August 10, 1947, in Schlater Mississippi and spent much of her life in Water Valley, where she proudly called home.
Patricia was a bright light in the lives of everyone she met. A spirited basketball player in junior high, she went on to graduate from high school in Leflore County before starting a career as an Account Representative in the banking industry. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her love for her family, whom she cherished deeply.
Throughout her life, Patricia enjoyed traveling and riding the open roads, but she also loved the comfort of home where she could be found working on crossword and word search puzzles. Patricia dedicated her time to her community, serving as a reserve deputy and leaving a mark of kindness and service wherever she went.
She was blessed with a beautiful family. Patricia is survived by her husband, Stu Holliday; her loving daughters, Melanie Harmon (Dennis) of Brandon, MS, and Sissy Tollison (Randy Gammel) of Oxford, MS.; Her grandchildren, Erin Johnston (Blair), Kyle Tollison, Catherine Prochaska (Matthew), and Lauren Harmon (Brye Foster), who brought her immense joy along with her numerous great-grandchildren and cherished nieces and nephews. Patricia is now reunited in spirit with her parents, Richard Noaks and Hazel Noaks; and her sister, Sherri Dendy, who predeceased her.
Please join us as we celebrate Patricia's remarkable life and legacy. A visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, starting at 12:00 PM, leading up to the funeral service at 2:00 PM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home. We invite all who knew and loved Patricia to come together and honor the incredible woman she was, sharing memories and laughter in her honor. Let us all gather to celebrate a life well-lived and a heart that brought warmth to so many.
