Patsy Ann Walton was born on September 2, 1958 to Willie B. Walton and Lucy Faye Brown Walton in Water Valley, Mississippi. She went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 23,2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center, in Tupelo, Mississippi. Patsy attended Water Valley High School and Jackson State University. She later obtained her Masters Degree in Psychology. While living in Water Valley she was employed with Borg Warner and upon moving to Tupelo, she worked in healthcare, as a customer service representative.

Patsy accepted Christ at an early age at Miles Memorial C.M.E. Church. After moving to Tupelo, she joined Lane Chapel C.M.E. Church. She loved cooking for her family, especially German Chocolate cake, sweet potato pies, and pecan pies. She also enjoyed reading and watching British shows on t.v.

She leaves to miss her dearly and cherish her memories, her loving son, Shelby Walton, who devoted his life to taking care of her, three sisters, Peggy Walton of Jackson, MS, Sheila Hawkins of Water Valley, MS, and Melissa (Henry) James of Arlington, TN, one brother, Tony (Elnora) Walton, three uncles, Joe (Laura) Brown, John (Barbara) Brown, of Memphis, TN, Bobby (Abigail) Brown of Water Valley, MS, one aunt, Shirley Hentz of Coffeeville, MS, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a dear family friend, Rubye (Joe) Carr of Water Valley, MS.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother in law, Curtis Lane Hawkins, aunt Annie Faye (Sherman) House, and uncle James (Catherine) Brown.
