Robert Garrett

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert Sloan Garrett, a beloved truck driver from Saltillo, MS. Robert, born on March 25, 1944, in Marks, MS, sadly left us on July 17, 2024, after an extended illness.

A veteran of the US Army, Robert served his country from January 30, 1964, until his honorable discharge on January 29, 1970. Despite not having completed high school, Robert found success as a dedicated truck driver in the transportation industry, where he excelled.

A funeral service in honor of Robert will take place in the Henry Chapel at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on July 22, 2024, at 11:00 am with Bro. Jimmy Hood officiating. A gathering for friends will take place an hour before starting at 10:00 am.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, James Garrett, Ophelia Garrett.
