Ronald Moody was born November 9, 1967, in Water Valley, Mississippi to James and Grace (Hawkins) Moody. He departed this life November 16, 2024, at the age of 57.

He confessed Christ and was baptized at an early age and joined Oak Grove CME Church. He sung in the choir and played guitar until he moved to California. Ronald graduated from Water Valley High School where he played football and played the trumpet. After high school, he started working at Oxford Cable then later spent most of his working years driving commercial trucks. His favorite hobbies were hunting, fishing, riding horses, riding motorcycles, and cooking. He was truly a country boy.

Ronald is survived by a son Jeremy (Jamie) Freeman of Owensboro KY, a Father James E. Moody of Water Valley, MS, a sister Joyce (Craig) Weeks of Birmingham, AL; a granddaughter Meah; a niece Erica (Zacchaeus) Chames of Birmingham, AL, and a nephew Aaron (Natalie) Weeks of Birmingham, AL; three great-nephews: Cason, Jaxson, and Jameson; one great-niece Alina Grace; a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins.

While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in the memories we have shared with Ronald. We will forever miss his grin and snickering laugh.
