Tammy Renee Crocker, beloved wife, mother, and member of the Water Valley community, passed away peacefully at her home on May 21, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on July 24, 1970, in Water Valley, Mississippi, Tammy was the daughter of Robert Joseph Dickey and Melba Jeanette Dickey. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Donnie Crocker, and their three children: Chevy, Sue, and Gloria.
Throughout her life, Tammy was a pillar of strength and compassion. She dedicated many years to serving as a first responder with EMS and the O'tuck Fire Department, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Despite facing illness, Tammy continued to display unwavering love and support for her family, friends, and community.
Tammy cherished time spent with her family, often attending dirt races on Saturdays with her husband and children. She took pride in her culinary skills, delighting in creating delicious meals for her loved ones. Her home was always open to her nieces and nephews, who adored their Aunt Tammy's warm and welcoming presence.
A reflection of love and resilience, Tammy will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband, Donnie Crocker; children, Chevy (Reagan) Crocker of Water Valley, MS, Sue Crocker along with her significant other Aaron Turner of Water Valley, MS and Gloria (Jamie) Goodson of Calhoun City, MS. Grandchild, Izzie Blayke Crocker belonging to Chevy and Reagan Crocker; her mother, Melba Dickey; one brother and two sisters. Terry Dickey of Water Valley, MS, Debbie (Bubba) Jackson of Water Valley, MS and Lisa (Stewart) Spence of Water Valley, MS.
Funeral services for Tammy will be held at Jumpers Chapel in Water Valley, Mississippi, At 12:00 Noon on Friday, May 24, 2024, with visitation scheduled for May 23 at 2:00 pm and again Friday May 24 at 9:00 am. The burial will take place in the church cemetery with Donnie Crocker, Chevy Crocker, Brandon Crocker and Lee Crocker serving as pallbearers.
Honorary Pallbearers will be George Crocker (brother in law), Mike Dickey (cousin) and James "Petie" Hendricks (family). Tammy's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who were touched by her kindness and love.
Tammy was proceeded to death by her father Robert Joseph Dickey (Jeanette); father in law George Luther Crocker (Diann); and 2 grandmothers and grandfathers.
The family has asked if you would like to bring food or order flowers, they can be brought to Jumpers Chapel or delivered to the church during visitation hours.
