Billy is a 1983 graduate of Water Valley High School. After a long and successful career as a machinist and millwright, he retired from Resolute Forest Products in Grenada to follow his calling to serve families through funeral service.
Billy began his funeral service career at Seven Oaks Funeral Home, where he completed a two-year apprenticeship with the vision of one day leading the organization. After earning his funeral director’s license in June 2020, he fulfilled that vision by becoming owner, president, and managing director of Seven Oaks Funeral Home on January 1, 2021.
Ordained into the Gospel ministry in 2005, Billy faithfully served as pastor of two local churches before transitioning into funeral service. His years of ministry, combined with his commitment to compassionate care, have equipped him to guide families with understanding, dignity, and respect during some of life’s most difficult moments.
Billy remains actively involved in the community through Sylva Rena Baptist Church and the Rotary International. When he is not serving families, he enjoys restoring and exhibiting classic automobiles.
Billy and his wife, Emily, are blessed with two children and three grandchildren. Together, they are honored to serve the families of the community with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to excellence.
